Magellan Game Jam

Coventry University, a member of STEAM consortium, is organising the MAGELLAN Game Jam, where teams are going to play-test a new games authoring tool and compete for amazing awards for the best location-based games designed during the event! The event is taking place at the Coventry University London Campus on Friday, June 30th.

MAGELLAN is a 4 year Research & Development project that will research and implement an unprecedented authoring and gaming platform, based on visual authoring principles, natural user interfaces and the latest interactive, mobile and geo-localisation technologies, for multi-player location-based experiences. The MAGELLAN project has been selected and receives the financial support of the European Commission in the frame of the 7th research.
